Whitfield ointment(salicylic acid and benzoic acid)

Whitfield’s ointment (BPC), which contains 3% salicylic acid and 3% benzoic acid, is a weak antifungal agent but is inexpensive and effective in treating all dermatophyte infections apart from scalp or nail disease, or kerion.
