EL-POD SYRUP(cefpodoxime oral suspension 50mg)

Elpod 50 MG Syrup is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs, nose, throat, ears, skin, bladder, etc. It is also used to treat typhoid fever in children. This medicine prevents infection by killing or stopping the growth of bacteria. Elpod 50 MG Syrup is not effective against infections caused by viruses. Your doctor may advise Elpod 50 MG Syrup alone or in combination with other medications to treat bacterial infections. Elpod 50 MG Syrup shows some common side effects like diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Do not take give this medicine if your child is allergic to it. Consult your doctor if any side effects are seen for a long time. Elpod 50 MG Syrup can be taken with or without food. For the ease of remembering, give the syrup to your child at the same time every day. Once your child starts taking the medicine, ensure that the entire course of treatment is completed. Elpod 50 MG Syrup should only be used to treat or prevent infections caused by bacteria. Avoid unnecessary use of Elpod 50 MG Syrup as excessive use may cause the bacteria to become resistant to treatment.
