CEFITAXE 100DT TAB(cefixime & lactic acid bacillus dispersible tab)

Cefitaxe 100 MG Tablet DT is an antibiotic medicine that contains cefixime as an active ingredient. It is used to treat bacterial infections affecting the lungs, throat, kidneys, bladder, ureters and urethra. It is also used to treat a sexually transmitted infection called gonorrhoea that infects both men and women. This medicine kills and stops the growth of bacteria causing the infection. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses. Cefitaxe 100 MG Tablet DT has some common side effects such as diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist. Avoid any activity that requires concentration if you feel drowsy after taking this medicine. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Cefitaxe 100 MG Tablet DT can be taken with or without food. Disperse it in a glass of water and swallow the solution, do not crush or chew the tablet. Cefitaxe 100 MG Tablet DT use should not be stopped suddenly, it is always recommended to finish the entire course of treatment to prevent the development of antibiotic resistance. Using Cefitaxe 100 MG Tablet DT when it is not required can make it less effective for future infections. Cefitaxe 100 MG Tablet DT may not be suitable for all people. Inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney issues before taking this medicine. Consult your doctor before using Cefitaxe 100 MG Tablet DT if you are a pregnant or breastfeeding woman. Contact your doctor if you do not feel better even after completing the treatment course.
