BISCON 5 (Bisoprolol Fumarate 5mg Tab)

Biscon-5Mg Tablet 10’S is an antihypertensive drug that is used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), angina pectoris (chest pain with painful tightness in the chest), arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats). It protects the heart in the early treatment after myocardial infarction (heart attack). Biscon-5Mg Tablet 10’S comes under the category of beta-blockers. Hypertension is a medical condition in which the blood exerts high blood pressure against the walls of the arteries (blood vessels). This, increase the workload of the heart, and if it continues for a long time, the heart and arteries may not function properly. It can damage the arteries of the heart, brain, and kidneys, resulting in a stroke, heart failure, or kidney failure. However, lowering blood pressure may reduce the risk of stroke and heart attacks.

Biscon-5Mg Tablet 10’S works by changing the way your body responds to some nerve impulses, especially in the heart. Biscon-5Mg Tablet 10’S slows down your heart rate and makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body. Although, Biscon-5Mg Tablet 10’S helps in lowering your raised blood pressure and in reducing the risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, other heart problems, or kidney problems in the future.

Try not to stop taking Biscon-5Mg Tablet 10’S of your own as it may raise your blood pressure and increase the chance of having a heart attack. Before taking Biscon-5Mg Tablet 10’S, inform your doctor if you are suffering from any kidney or liver or are diabetic, or heart disease. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please tell your doctor so that the dosage of Biscon-5Mg Tablet 10’S can be prescribed accordingly.

Do not use Biscon-5Mg Tablet 10’S if you have a cardiogenic shock (sudden stopping of blood flow to the heart). Please tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines or are allergic to Biscon-5Mg Tablet 10’S and ingredients present in it. You should not take or consult your doctor if you have asthma, wheezing, or any other breathing problems, allergic reaction (like insect stings), prinzmetal’s angina (chest pain), diabetes, poor blood circulation, first stage heart block.
